About Us
A 100% black owned engineering, maintenance and supply company built in eMalahleni, working across Mpumalanga since 2001.
Our story
25 years of showing up and doing it properly
Wenzekahle Maintenance Services was established in 2001 to take advantage of the opportunities opening up across different industries, and over the years we have restructured the business into five focused divisions so each one can concentrate on its strengths.
We are based in eMalahleni, in the heart of South Africa's energy and mining belt, with a branch office in Standerton and a footprint that stretches across the province. Our teams offer engineering services to mining companies, government departments, non governmental organisations and industrial clients, covering the whole journey: the first consultation, planning and design, then implementation and commissioning, and finally the ongoing maintenance and support that keeps a project working long after handover.
Wenzekahle is an isiZulu word. It is what you say to someone when they have done a job well. We chose it as our name because it is also our standard.
Our team
Ownership and empowerment
Broad based, black owned, and serious about it
Wenzekahle Maintenance Services is owned by skilled and competent people drawn from different industries. The company is 100% black owned, and it is broad based, controlled and managed from eMalahleni.
Empowerment is not a paragraph in our profile, it is the reason the company exists in the shape it does. We aim to build an organisation that benefits more than its shareholders: one that opens platforms and opportunities for previously disadvantaged and disabled individuals in the business sector, so that they can realise their full potential. As the business grows across the province, we plan to keep employing local people as a deliberate part of our job creation strategy.
- Local employment and job creation built into how we resource every project
- In-service training for new graduates and tertiary students wherever we can place them
- Communities treated as the main beneficiary on every community development project
- Partnerships with other black owned enterprises that share solutions, skills and equity participation
Vision
To live up to our name, and be a light to our business partners
We see Wenzekahle as a leading provider of customised business solutions that empower the youth, women and previously disadvantaged individuals, contributing to job creation and shared economic development in every community we touch.
